Apricot CloudsThe Society of Bluffton Artists Gallery welcomes Margaret Crawford as featured artist from September 8 through October 4. Originally from New Jersey, Margaret and her family have vacationed in the Lowcountry since the early seventies, eventually moving to Hilton Head full time. An accomplished painter, she truly loves the South and is inspired to interpret her beautiful surroundings on watercolor paper and canvas, motivating her to share her latest work in this show called Southern Skies and Southern Ties.

Margaret, especially known for her dramatic watercolor florals, has an appreciation for all artistic styles and has expanded her art interest lately from watercolor and oil to also include acrylic painting and collage. As she says “it is so exciting to be in this area because there as so many opportunities to learn and experiment with different media.” And it seems she is the master of any medium she tries her hand at as you’ll see in this lovely exhibit.
