My work has been featured in solo exhibitions in San Francisco, Santa Fe and St.Helena. Group shows include New York City, San Francisco, Schenectady, Chicago and Palmetto Bluff. I try to evoke the feeling of a moment with images that hint at a larger, sometimes mysterious narrative. Inspiration comes from memories and my surroundings. Oil paint, for me, best expresses these ideas because of its richness and translucence. I build layers of paint, letting earlier layers show through, mixing past and present.
