The Society of Bluffton Artists

I became interested in making metal jewelry several years ago. I love the creative process that’s involved from idea to finished product. I create my own designs from things I find in nature, such as leaves, ears of corn, antique silver spoon handles, and also use molds to make designs. I like to incorporate different textures in my work. After firing my pieces in a kiln, I oxidize them for a more antique appearance. I often crochet necklaces to accompany my metal work.
