Step by step Portraits for beginners – an easy way for anyone to successfully draw the face and head. Hands on practical experience using step by step demos of the artist’s blank in 3 views; facing forward, ¾ view, and profile, each followed by Portrait demos then guided practice with individual help for you to create your own portraits in graphite, graphite sticks, charcoal and pastel.

Day 1: The artist’s blank-facing forward, step by step demo, followed by portrait demo using what we just learned. Then guided practice on your own portrait with individual instruction. Graphite H-6B, graphite sticks

Day 2: The artist’s blank in profile, step by step demo, followed by profile portrait demo using what we just learned. Then guided practice on your own portrait with individual instruction. Vine Charcoal, Charcoal Pencils

Day 3: The artist’s blank in a ¾ view step by step demo, followed by demo of ¾ view Portrait in pastel. Guided practice creating your own ¾ view in pastel, or the media of your choice.
