Free Student Art Classes

Free Student Art Classes

Your child is invited to attend the Saturday Student Art Classes given by the Society of Bluffton Artists.
These classes are FREE, offered to children in grades 3-8, selected by the art teachers in the participating schools. SoBA offers these programs as an expression of gratitude to the Bluffton area community for its interest and support of the arts. Instructors and assistants for this program are qualified and volunteer their time and skills to this effort.

The classes for grades 3, 4, and 5 will be held on the following Saturdays: January 12 and 26 and February 2, 9 and 23 from 10-12 am.

The classes for grades 6, 7, and 8 will be held on Saturdays in March: the 9, 16, 23, and 30 from 10-12 am.

We expect the children to be attentive and respectful. If a child is disruptive, he/she will be asked to leave the classes. We ask the arrivals and departures be timely. Our volunteer staff cannot be expected to tend to children beyond the allotted times. In addition, we ask that you commit to the full program. Our staff puts in much time, preparations and expense into providing for each group.

In case of inclement weather, please call the contact below if you think the class might be canceled.

We look forward to working with your child and to offering a quality art experience.
