Carol Delude
Carol Dulude is an acrylic painter based in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. Inspired by the quiet beauty of coastal landscapes, she creates serene nature scenes that highlight the calming interplay of water and sky. Her work reflects a lifelong connection to natural spaces shaped by her upbringing in Canada and years spent living in Massachusetts. After beginning her artistic journey in retirement, she embraced painting as both a creative exploration and a contemplative practice. Through soft color palettes and expansive horizons, her paintings invite viewers to pause, breathe, and experience a sense of peace found in the simplicity of the natural world.
“My acrylic landscape paintings focus on creating calm, quiet spaces that invite reflection and stillness. Using subtle color palettes and soft transitions, I aim to capture the peaceful atmosphere found in natural environments. Acrylic allows me to build gentle layers that suggest light, distance, and mood. Through these landscapes, I hope viewers can pause and experience a moment of tranquility.”
