Jackie grew up in New England drawing as a child but life took her in another direction. Attending college late in life and taking a drawing class brought her love of art back. During a life changing event she took to painting as a type of therapy. Her husband saw her talent and encouraged her to take an oil painting class; that began her love of oil painting. Living in the low country inspires her paintings of marshes, boats, coastal landscapes and wildlife. She now paints varies landscapes for clients and is a proud member of SOBA.
