My Father was an artists so the smell, feel, and beauty of oil paint was part of my growing up. I studied under various artists over a lifetime. Retiring from a banking career, my focus has returned to my true passion, oil painting. Movement, mood, light and image reflections are expressed within landscapes, the sea and sky. Using brushes, palette knives, paper towels, and fingers, I balance quick, free strokes with fine detail, striving to capture the majesty found in nature.
