Until recently Ms. Richards resided in Lower Hudson Valley, NY. where her work could be found in many private and corporate collections. Moving to Bluffton, SC. in 2021 Karen’s current focus is on painting collections that emphasize native & endangered species and fragile environments. Working primarily in watercolor or acrylic Ms. Richards can be found both outside sketching or painting in a field or working in her studio, her subjects vary from close up views of birds, butterflies and flowers to vast landscapes.
