The Society of Bluffton Artists

After years of pursuing various arts and crafts on an informal basis (notably original needlepoint and paper collage) I made the decision to commit to painting as often as I could after taking an exploratory watercolor class. Ten years later I am still learning, taking classes, and espousing the virtues of traditional watercolor. I find great satisfaction on mixing my colors from limited primaries and reserving the white of the paper. While florals are most fun for me to paint, I am starting to do more landscapes and portraits.
