Exploring Color with Pastels- part two
“Learn how to Paint with Brilliant Color and Texture”
Expand on your learning to work with pastels. In the morning, the class will start with a full painting demonstration. You will learn how to focus on a strong composition, define values, identify your light source, establish a point of focus, and how to see and use color effectively to capture brilliant color in your paintings. You will learn how to interpret your reference photographs for atmosphere and understand the relationships between value, color temperature and color intensity. There will be personalized teaching and individualized feedback throughout the day. 10:00-4:00 with a lunch break.
