Chris Crotty’s art reflects a love of painting and exploring the lowcountry salt marshes. Animals & birds are her primary subject matter. Her art reflects a realistic vision but also uses light vs. dark color patterns & shapes to create a painting that draws the viewer in from across the room. When the painting is observed closely there are new details revealed which let the viewer create their own experience with the work.
Recently, her work was part of the HHI Art League Biennale juried show & SOBA Annual Show.
