Born in Chicago, he studied art & architecture at the Art Institute of Chicago, the University of Illinois in Urbana and Chicago, and in the South of France. He has painted over 130 canvases in acrylics and oils in the last two years, had three successful featured artist shows, and has sold over 40 paintings. He practiced architecture for 50 years, but now paints the coastal beaches and low-country of SC. He is currently Executive Vice President and membership chair of the Beaufort Art Association.
