As president, SOBA has become my passion and my main job during this last 4 years and for the future one as well. My painting has really taken a back seat to all things SOBA. I am a museum junkie and travel to enjoy and absorb what great and not so great painters feel is important to express in their work. I have trained with some award winning instructors here at our studio and recently with a wonderful watercolorist in Guatemala. I have lived in Bluffton for 27 years and feel almost like a native! I paint in most media but pastel is my favorite.
