We will learn how to dissect a photo and compose an uncluttered image. Composition, color selection, dealing with light source, shadow effects and values are among the topics of this class. While this is a continuing class, it’s also open to any new painters who wish to improve what they do. Bring a sketch or painting that is troubling you. We also will use oil and acrylic paints. Additional paint & brushes will be available. Mary Ann Browning Ford’s range of work goes from murals to abstracts and working with students of all ages and levels of expertise. Set designer/artist for USC-Beaufort Center for the Arts, creator of metal art in Fort Howell, Hilton Head, set painter for the Arts Center in Orange County, California and clientele nationally.
