Watercolor for Beginners

Instructor:  Mary Ann Browning Ford
9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. August 17th & 18th •  $90 for members and $100 for non-members

Come join the Center for Creative Arts for a watercolor class designed for those who think they can’t do a stick figure! Mary Ann Browning Ford will take you from basics to a finished piece you’ll be proud of.  All you’ll need are  paint brushes and paint – I will supply the rest.  If you like, bring a picture of something you’d like to try. Mary Ann will have several images ideal for beginners.

Mary Ann has painted in all mediums as artist & muralist from California to South Carolina. She attended Cleveland Institute of Art, Corcoran Gallery Art School, Torpedo Factory, De Young Museum Art School and continuous study. She also serves as Scenic Artist for Center for the Arts in Beaufort.

First Day – Discussion and Demonstration with Mary Ann and continue with getting comfortable with the medium by practicing.  One-on-One instruction.

Second Day – More discussion and continue to complete a piece.
