Seeing the brilliance of morning light at sunrise and the visual splendor of a sunset inspires every watercolor artist. In the early morning, the atmosphere has cooled and the humidity has decreased, resulting in more intense and crisp colors in the dawn sky. Conversely, at the end of the day, the atmosphere warms up, humidity increases, and particulates contribute to stunning blends of color. During both times of the day, Artists must skillfully blend vibrant hues and navigate complex cloud formations.
In this two-day workshop, David Rankin will share his most effective watercolor techniques for creating dramatic moods during sunrise and sunset. Artists should come prepared to paint stunning sunrises and sunsets!
