This course covers three key processes for creating a successful painting you’re proud to show.
First, “The Bones” teaches how to simplify tonal values using your eyelashes, deconstruct shapes, create a value map, and focus on one thing—plus tips on better photography.
Second, learn to develop edges, color temperature, and broken color for a harmonious and believable composition, including an essential perimeter edge technique.
Third, add the “Jewelry”—high chroma details and complementary colors that elevate a painting beyond rendering into pure artistic expression.
