Painting Florals in Oil with Dennis Lake

This class will cover initial design, application and color to accomplish at least one picture of a beautiful floral subject. Students should bring photos to sketch and select from. Approaches to handling negative space, using complimentary color combinations and lighting techniques will be covered. Some demos and critiques of your desired style and painting using oils will enable you better understand how to achieve your goals. Students can paint in whatever medium and any subject they wish. Oil, WC ,Acrylic, Pastel.  Instructor critiques and advice on techniques, materials and style will be tailored to the students needs and requests.
