Painting stunning trees lies in two essential artistic skills. The first is the ability to accurately draw them, while the second is mastering the initial watercolor stage. With live oaks it’s capturing the intricate limbs covered in hanging Spanish moss and revealing the gaps that showcase the sky. Guided by David Rankin, artists will create magnificent watercolor paintings of the area’s trees. The workshop includes a plein air sketching session, weather permitting.
